Registration Types

Full Registration (member/non member): Participants will have full access to the conference. Member rate is available to all IEEE Magnetic Society Members, AIP Affiliated Society Members and APS Reciprocal Society Members upon submission of a valid membership number.

Student Registration: Student registration is available for those studying full time and who hold a current Student Identification Card. To be eligible you will need to provide a copy of your current student ID card or a written statement from your supervisor verifying your student status.

Note:

• Virtual Presenters: Registration allows for one virtual poster presentation and one paper/manuscript submission per digest.
• In-Person Oral and Poster Presenters: Registration allows for multiple digest presentations onsite and up to two paper/manuscript submissions (one paper per digest).

Registration Fees

Payment is required upon registration. We accept Visa and Mastercard. All payments made must be in Pounds (£). Payment by bank transfer (on request only) will incur an additional administration fee of £30 + VAT. All payments are inclusive of VAT (the current prevailing rate applies).

Terms and Conditions

Payment Policy:
Payment can only be accepted by Visa or Mastercard.
Should you require payment by bank transfer an additional administration fee of £30 +VAT will be charged.

Payments are made payable ONLY to Conference Partners. Payment must be received by Conference Partners within two weeks of receipt of your invoice. If payment is NOT received within two weeks of receiving invoice, you may be subject to additional charges.

Please include your name and ID number on the banking reference when paying via bank transfer.

Registration Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations are subject to an administrative fee

• If cancelled before 3rd March 2026 – 100% of the Congress fee is refundable (minus an administrative fee of £50)
• No refunds are payable from 4th March 2026 onwards
• Virtual registrations are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Please note: If you pre-register and fail to attend the conference, you will be held liable for the full participation fee and must settle any outstanding balances.

Changes, substitutions and cancellations of registration:
Substitutions/replacements can be made at any time and are subject to a £25 + VAT administration fee.

Notification of changes or cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the IEEE Magnetics Society Intermag Conference 2026 Team at intermag2026@conferencepartners.com

Cancellation and refund policy:
All applicable refunds will be made after the conference.
Bank service charges and all administration fees will be deducted from all conference registration refunds.

Cancellation of the conference
In the unlikely case of cancellation of the event, the organisers shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc. Delegates are encouraged to take out travel insurance when making travel and accommodation arrangements.

Photography, audio recording and video recording
By registering for this meeting, all attendees acknowledge that they may be photographed by Conference personnel while at events, and that those photos may be used for promotional purposes, in Conference publications and websites, and on social media sites.

Any recording of sessions (audio, video, still photography, etc.) intended for personal use, distribution, publication, or copyright is strictly prohibited. Attendees violating this policy may be asked to leave the session.

Code of Conduct
The objective of the Conference organizers is to create a collegial, inclusive, and professional environment at the Conference in order to facilitate and support open scientific discourse and advance knowledge in the field of magnetism. Creating this environment is the responsibility of all participants, including attendees, speakers, vendors, exhibitors, conference management staff and organizers. It is the policy of the Conference that all meeting and conference participants will conduct themselves in a professional manner that is welcoming and free from any form of bias, discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.

Accordingly, participants are required to treat each other with respect and consideration and avoid any actions or statements based on individual characteristics such as age, ancestry, color, disability or handicap, national origin, race, religion, gender, sexual or affectional orientation, gender identity, gender expression, appearance, matriculation, political affiliation, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Discriminatory or harassing behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Harassment includes but is not limited to inappropriate or intimidating behavior and language, unwelcome jokes or comments, unwanted touching or attention, offensive images, and stalking.

Violations of this policy, or those additionally referred to in the IEEE Code of Conduct, should be reported to the Conference organizers, management staff, or to the IEEE Magnetics Society President. Sanctions may range from verbal or written warning, to ejection from the meeting without refund. Retaliation for complaints of inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
