VISA & ETA REQUIREMENTS

The Irish and UK Governments, all EU member states, the United States and Australia/NZ stipulate that any application for a visa to attend a conference in their country must be a statement of fact based on the actual status of a delegate’s registration. The applicant must provide evidence that they are attending a conference; a statement of intent to attend a conference is not sufficient. We are therefore not able to issue any visa letters until a delegate has completed their registration through our online portal and have paid in full. We are unable to provide visa letters containing any additional or customised information under any circumstances.

If you have submitted an abstract and require confirmation of its acceptance, you can access and download your abstract acceptance invitation letter by clicking the following link: https://intermag2026.abstractcentral.com

Delegates may require a visa to attend INTERMAG 2026 in Manchester, U.K. You can apply for your visa three months before travel. All up to date details can be found on the UK Home Office website.

Visitors to the UK who do not require a visa for short stays will need to obtain permission to travel through an electronic travel authorisation (ETA).
